Terms of Service
MoltenTech LLC — Flux Hub · Effective September 17, 2026 · [email protected]
Who these terms are between
Flux Hub is a marketplace and provisioning platform operated by MoltenTech LLC (“MoltenTech”, “we”). Three kinds of party use it:
- A Renter holds FLUX collateral and rents a node slot so their Flux node runs on someone else’s hardware.
- An Operator runs Proxmox hardware, lists node slots on the Marketplace, builds and runs the Renter’s node, and bills the Renter directly.
- MoltenTech runs the platform: the Marketplace, the provisioning protocol and agent, the operator toolkit and console, and the monitoring that watches every node.
The money moves in exactly two places.
- A Renter pays an Operator. MoltenTech never receives any part of a rental payment.
- MoltenTech offers Operators subscriptions, both Free and Paid, based on how many customer nodes you run at once and to be identified as business-grade providers.
These terms are in three parts. Part A binds a Renter and an Operator to each other. Part B binds an Operator to MoltenTech. Part C binds everyone who uses the platform. A Renter accepts Parts A and C by subscribing to a rental. An Operator accepts Parts B and C when registering, and again whenever they change. An Operator may also be a Renter — renting a slot from another Operator, or running their own nodes on their own hardware — and is then bound by Part A for that rental like any other Renter.
Part A
Renter and Operator — the rental
A1. The rental is a contract between you and the Operator
When you subscribe to a listing, you enter a contract with the Operator named on that listing. MoltenTech is not a party to the rental. It provides the platform the rental is arranged on and runs through, and it acts as described in Part C.
A2. Price and billing
- The price is the one on the Operator’s listing at the time you subscribe.
- It is billed as a recurring monthly subscription on the Operator’s own Stripe account. The Operator is the merchant of record and is responsible for any tax on the sale.
- The subscription renews each month until you cancel it.
A3. Cancellation
- You may cancel at any time from your dashboard’s billing portal.
- Your node keeps running until the end of the period you have paid for, after which it is decommissioned and its VM removed.
- Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period.
A4. Refunds
- Refunds are the Operator’s to give. Subscription fees are not prorated for a partial month.
- Undelivered node: every rental starts with a trial of at least one day, so the node is built and running before the first charge. Cancel during the trial and nothing has been charged. If the Operator still cannot provision the node after a charge has been made, the Operator cancels that subscription and refunds that charge. Every Operator accepts both rules in Part B (B4).
- Any other refund is at the Operator’s discretion. MoltenTech does not hold rental funds and cannot issue a refund on an Operator’s behalf.
A5. What the Operator delivers
- A virtual machine of the tier you rented, on hardware the Operator has attested as their own, meeting the tier’s published specification.
- Your Flux node started from the configuration you submit, and kept running for the term of the rental.
- The platform watches every node’s benchmarks and tells you and the Operator when one is at risk of dropping tier; acting on that is the Operator’s job.
A6. What you keep, and what the Operator receives
- Your FLUX collateral, wallet keys and node identity are yours at all times. Neither the Operator nor MoltenTech ever takes custody of them, and neither can recover a lost key.
- To build your node, the configuration you submit — including your node identity and an identity key that is stored encrypted — is delivered to the Operator’s agent. The Operator necessarily has it.
- You are responsible for keeping the configuration you submit accurate.
A7. Free rentals and Foundation nodes
- An Operator may grant a rental at no charge to wallets they choose. A granted rental is subject to the term the grant states and may be withdrawn when it ends.
- Flux Hub may place Foundation nodes on an Operator’s idle capacity and remove them when a paid rental arrives. That is an arrangement between MoltenTech and the Operator; it creates no obligation to a Renter.
A8. Problems with a rental
Raise it with the Operator first. If that fails, contact [email protected]. MoltenTech does not control an Operator’s hardware: it can ask the Operator to move or rebuild a node, but only the Operator can approve it. MoltenTech can hide a listing or suspend an Operator who breaks Part B; it cannot refund money it never received.
Part B
Operator and MoltenTech — the platform
B1. What MoltenTech provides
A listing on the Marketplace; the provisioning protocol and the agent that carries it; the Coalition application; the operator console; delegated node start; benchmark and version telemetry with alerts; and the operator toolkit. MoltenTech provides no hardware and guarantees no customers.
B2. Operator subscriptions
- MoltenTech offers Operators subscriptions, both Free and Paid. A subscription is based on the number of customer nodes you may run at once (B3) — not on the size of your hardware — and a Paid subscription identifies you to Renters as a business-grade provider.
- The Supporter level is free: you run your own nodes and lend idle capacity to Foundation nodes, and nothing is listed for sale. A Supporter may take the Paid Patron plan; it buys recognition on the platform and first placement of your idle capacity, and nothing else in these terms changes for you.
- Paid subscriptions are billed monthly by MoltenTech LLC through Stripe, on MoltenTech’s own account, and renew each month until you cancel. The current levels, their prices and their node limits are shown in your operator console; the level you hold is the one you pay for.
- Subscription fees are not prorated. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the current period.
B3. Sold Out — subscription limits and lapses
- Each subscription level allows a number of active third-party nodes — customer nodes, Free or Paid. When you reach that number your listing is shown as Sold Out on the Marketplace until a customer node ends or you move to a higher level.
- If a Paid subscription renewal fails, your listing is likewise shown as Sold Out. It stays Sold Out until payment is made or you change level. Your Operator account is not suspended for a lapse, and your console keeps working.
- Your existing customers are not affected. Every rental you have already sold continues to its paid-through date and remains your obligation under Part A. A Renter is never penalised for an Operator’s lapse or limit.
B4. Marketplace rules you accept
- Your listing is truthful: the tier, the price and the availability you assert are what a Renter gets.
- You attest only hardware you control, and you keep that attestation current.
- Every subscription you sell includes a trial of at least one day, to give time for the node to be set up properly before the first charge. A longer trial is fine; a shorter one is not (A4).
- If you cannot provision a node a Renter has paid for, you cancel that subscription and refund that charge (A4).
- You do not move, rebuild or destroy a customer’s node except through the platform, and you do not touch a customer’s collateral, keys or node identity for any purpose other than running their node.
- When a Renter’s configuration arrives you either build it or reject it through the platform; you do not leave it pending.
- You keep your Stripe account able to take payment for the listings you show.
B4a. Credit hours and node loans
- When Flux Hub places a Foundation node on your idle hardware you earn credit hours, at the rate shown in your operator console. Credit hours are not money: they cannot be withdrawn or refunded, they have no cash value, and MoltenTech may change the earn rate and the cost of a node loan with notice on the platform.
- Credit hours pay for a node loan: while your hardware is down, one of your Renters’ active nodes is run on another Operator’s listed hardware for a fixed term of whole days, at the cost shown before you confirm. The whole term is debited when you confirm and is not refunded if you end the loan early. The borrowed node is removed automatically when the term ends and your node is rebuilt on your own hardware.
- A loan does not change who bills whom: your Renter’s subscription with you (B5) and your listing continue unchanged, and you remain responsible to your Renter under Part A. Toward the host Operator you are the Renter of the borrowed node, and the host Operator’s obligations to you are those of B4. A loan does not count toward the host’s subscription limit (B3).
- You authorize the removal of the original node from your hardware when it comes back online, so that one registration is never run in two places. Running the same node from two places at once is a breach of Part A.
B5. You are the merchant of record
You bill your Renters on your own Stripe account, you own the customer relationship, and tax, refunds and chargebacks on rental payments are yours. MoltenTech receives no part of a rental payment and does not act as your agent in the sale.
B6. Your credentials and your data
- MoltenTech never holds your Proxmox or Stripe credentials. Your agent only ever connects out to the platform; the platform never connects in to you.
- The platform keeps your owner wallet, your attested hosts, your listing, your inventory and the telemetry your agent and Coalition report. See the Privacy Policy.
B7. Suspension and retirement
- MoltenTech may hide a listing, or suspend or retire an Operator, for a breach of Part B or Part C, and will tell you why.
- You may retire yourself from the operator console. Retirement removes your listings, refuses your agent, and ends new business; it does not erase the record of what you ran, which is kept for the audit trail.
B8. MoltenTech's liability to you
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MoltenTech’s total liability to an Operator for any claim relating to the platform is limited to the operator subscription you paid MoltenTech in the one (1) month preceding the claim.
Part C
Everyone — the platform
C1. Accounts
You sign in with a wallet signature; there is no password. Your wallet is your account, and MoltenTech cannot recover a wallet or a key. Anything signed by your wallet is yours.
C2. No earnings, uptime or performance guarantee
- Flux node rewards depend on the Flux network, your collateral, benchmark results and factors outside anyone’s control here. Neither MoltenTech nor any Operator guarantees rewards, earnings, confirmations or returns.
- The fleet figures the platform publishes are measurements over a past window, not a promise about the future.
- The platform is provided “as is”. There is no uptime SLA from MoltenTech. An Operator may state one on their own listing; if they do, it is theirs.
C3. Acceptable use
You may not use the platform for unlawful activity, or in a way that harms the platform, an Operator, a Renter, or the Flux network. MoltenTech may suspend any account that does.
C4. MoltenTech's liability to a Renter
A Renter pays MoltenTech nothing. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MoltenTech’s total liability to a Renter for any claim relating to the platform is limited to the amount the Renter paid the Operator for the affected rental in the one (1) month preceding the claim. MoltenTech is not liable to anyone for lost rewards, lost profits, or indirect or consequential damages.
C5. Changes to these terms
- We may update these terms. A change takes effect on the effective date shown at the top of this page.
- An Operator is asked to accept the updated terms in the operator console before continuing to use it; nodes already running for their customers are not interrupted.
- For a Renter, updated terms apply from the next renewal of the rental.
C6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
